A Microsoft account is an account that can be used on devices such as Windows and services provided by Microsoft (Skype, Outlook.com, OneDrive, etc.). All devices and services can share information such as contacts, files, and images, so we recommend using a Microsoft account unless you have a specific reason to do so.
