Check screen time on Android
To check screen time on your Android, you’ll have to set up Digital Wellbeing. Set up Digital Wellbeing on your Android device, using the following steps. Step 1: Open the Settings app on your Android device Step 2: Select Digital Wellbeing & Parental controls Step 3: Now, tap ‘Your Digital Wellbeing Tools’ and tap ‘Show your data’ Once you set up Digital Wellbeing on your Android, you can find the screen time on the dashboard.
Manage your app time
You can control how much time you want to spend on each app. To enable the app timer, follow these steps: Step 1: Open the Settings app on your Android device Step 2: Select Digital Wellbeing & Parental controls Step 3: You’ll see the dashboard of your Digital Wellbeing with a chart of the time spent on various apps. It will also display the number of unlocks and notifications you received on the day. To set a timer for apps, tap on the chart. Step 4: Now select an app you would like to set the time for Step 5: Tap App timer Step 6: Adjust the time for the app timer. Note that the app timer would reset at midnight. Step 7: Finally, tap OK To delete an app timer, just tap on the delete button in Digital Wellbeing settings. Once you cross the app usage time limit, the app will stop and the app icon will go dim. To use the app again, change the settings in Digital Wellbeing.
Manage your browsing time
Besides the app timer, you can also set a limit on your browsing time on Google Chrome. Not sure if you can relate, but it happens to me so often. I get lost in surfing and reading articles, spending a great deal of time from site to site–just like flipping pages of a thriller novel. But here’s the good news: browsing time limit for Google Chrome. To set up a limit on your browsing time on Google Chrome, follow these steps. Step 1: Open the Settings app on your Android device Step 2: Select Digital Wellbeing & Parental controls Step 3: Tap the chart and select Chrome or select Show all apps and then select Chrome Step 4: To check the time you spend on websites you visit regularly, locate Show sites you visit and tap it, next, tap Show. You’ll see the time you spend on each website. Step 5: To set a timer for any website, select the website and tap Set site timer. Step 6: Adjust the time limit and hit OK That is all. Now when you overdo your surfing limit, Google Chrome will automatically close. If you are using another browser on your Android device, you can set the timer for that as well from the list of apps.
Enable these modes
Digital Wellbeing also offers numerous modes for different purposes. These modes help you reduce distractions when you want to disconnect from your smartphone, be it for sleep or focus at work or study.

When you turn on bedtime mode, you can enable DND and grayscale mode as well.

Focus mode allows you to block distracting apps while you get important things done. Check how to turn focus mode on. Step 1: Open the Settings app on your Android device Step 2: Select Digital Wellbeing & Parental controls Step 3: Tap Focus mode Step 4: Now, select the apps you would like to block when the focus mode is on. When using the focus mode, you won’t be able to use these apps nor will you receive notifications from them. Step 5: Finally, tap ‘Turn on now’ To turn focus mode off, tap Turn off now in Focus mode.
