GuitarTuna is simply the best guitar tuner app available on the Google Play Store. We admit we’re no experts on guitars or their workings but we do know how important tuning is. The music professor at my college recommended a bunch of apps and this was on the top. From a newbie perspective, GuitarTuna seems easy enough to use without getting confused. Of course, this app is only useful to those who know what they are doing and know their way around the instrument. The interface, however, is remarkable and provides easy access to every feature. The only thing wrong about Real Guitar is its name; after all, it’s a digital app, not a real thing. Thankfully the app does come close in replicating the real thing. 8. Guitarist – Free
Want to become a guitarist? No, this is the app is not for that. Want to have some fun making music-like sounds? This app is for that! The app intends to be much more than it currently is and that is inspiring in my book. Despite its shortcomings and scaling issues, the app does deliver fun and somewhat educational guitar playing experience. The downside is that the app is made by someone who clearly doesn’t know English. Try not to read the text on the landing page, you have been warned. Features:
A serviceable and simple interface. The fret play mode is great.Get everything on one screen.
Notable Feature: Usually, the bass in other apps is not of high quality, so you hear tangible hissing in the sounds. Surprisingly, this app delivers a crisp sound but at the cost of loudness. We recommend using a headset/earbuds with this app.
