This phone is a crossover between flip phones and foldable smartphones. The only difference is that, if foldable devices are to be used in landscape mode, this is a portrait mode smartphone. The specifications are very similar to a regular smartphone, except for the below-average battery, of just 2730mAh. Specifications:

While the specifications did not really impress us, perhaps this is a more exotic phone – what it doesn’t have in specifications, it has in the fact that it is a flip phone – meaning that it is smaller, more portable and easier to use. 2. Samsung Galaxy Folder 2
The Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 comes with a bit outdated specifications – it even has a removable battery, something that is rarely found in newer smartphones. This a touchscreen flip phone for nostalgics, that do not necessarily care for the newest specifications, but are interested more in the flip design. Specifications:

The release of this smartphone has been a bit of a rocky road, with leaks and design faults. However, Samsung seems to have solved its issues and launched it in Korea in September 2019. This is the second foldable phone released on the market, but perhaps the most popular. The device has been designed to withstand at least 200,000 folds and unfolds, so you don’t have to worry about it breaking up after a few uses. It is an exciting piece of technology, finally breaking the mold of the simple rectangle smartphone that we are all used to.
2. Xiaomi Mi MIX Flex
There isn’t much information available about this device, except speculations and a video of the President of the company, Bin Lin using the prototype on Twitter. Nevertheless, the prototype seems to be very promising – a device that is tablet-like, foldable from the sides, in both directions. Sounds pretty good, right? This device is mostly a declaration from Xiaomy that the company is entering the folding smartphones productions after many well-known brands have also decided to enter it.
3. Huawei Mate Xs
What is different with this foldable smartphone is that the screen folds around the exterior, rather than like a book, similar to other foldable phones. This device can be folded to half its size, turning from a tablet into a smartphone in the blink of an eye.
